By bus, it will take you a minimum of 6 hours to get there. The city itself is very small but there are a lot of tourist attractions that are conveniently tucked away in the nearby hills and mountains. Without a vehicle, there may be some difficulty accessing these sights.

In order to enjoy your trip to Baguio, you must hire a car or van rental to take you to these places.   • The entrance fee to all the attractions
  • The luggage limit is not more than 5 – 7 kilos per guest. This is applicable for tours where there are 8 or more guests. If there are less than 8 guests then extra luggage is allowed.

Your Baguio City Trip Schedule:

Burnham Park

This is largest and most popular tourist park right in the heart of the city. You can go shopping in the little stores for souvenirs that border the park and the man made lagoon where you can go boat riding.

Baguio City Market

One of the cleanest markets you will see where you can buy giant strawberries, a variety of their local delicacies like fruit jams indigenous in their region and the freshest, handpicked, mountain grown vegetables. They also sell exclusive handicrafts like genuine silver jewelry and artworks, wooden little statues of Igorots and others.

Session Road

Session Road is the main road of Baguio City, which is interesting to walk thru because it slopes downhill from the top of the city. It is lined in both sides with several restaurants and shops that make it very interesting to traverse from end to end.

Baguio Cathedral

This beautiful cathedral stands majestic on top of a hill. It gives you a beautiful view of Session Road and the city.

Lunch

Baguio has several and diverse dining options from small intimate cafes to full scale restaurants that offer international cuisine. They are found all over Session road and some are tucked away in the fringes of the city.

Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden is 1 kilometer away from Session Road.  It was once a zoo but currently it is a showcase of exotic blooms.

Wright Park Riding Circle

This is where you can ride a horse for a fee. You have the option of riding the horse around the circle in the park or explore the hills of Benguet for 1 hour.

The Mansion

The Mansion used to be the vacation home of the former President Ferdinand Marcos. The property was sequestered by the government and was converted into a tourist attraction.

Mines View Park

Mines View Park is located on the northeastern fringes of Baguio. It overlooks the former Itogon Mining Park. It guarantees you a spectacular view of the mines and the mountains.

GoodShepherd Convent

The Good Shepherd Convent is a monastery where you can visit to renew your spirits. They also have a little shop where they sell delicious goodies and delicacies handmade by the nuns.
